By accessing and using jbin ("Service") operated by Animated Creativity ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

jbin provides a JSON data storage and retrieval service accessible via web interface and API. The Service allows users to store, update, retrieve, and delete JSON data through secure API endpoints.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3.2 Account Responsibilities

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service
  • You must provide accurate and complete information
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • One account per person/entity

4. Service Plans and Pricing

4.1 Free Plan

  • 100MB storage
  • 100,000 requests per month
  • Unlimited bins

4.2 Pro Plan

  • $9.99/month (USD, excluding taxes)
  • 10GB storage
  • 10,000,000 requests per month
  • Priority support
  • 99.9% uptime SLA

4.3 Taxes

All prices are in USD and exclusive of applicable taxes. Taxes will be calculated based on your location:

  • Indian customers: 18% GST will be added. Users can optionally provide their GSTIN for tax-compliant invoicing.
  • Other locations: Applicable local taxes may apply based on your jurisdiction.

Example (India): Pro Plan: $9.99 + 18% GST (~$1.80) = ~$11.79/month

5. Payment Terms

  • Payments are processed through PayPal
  • Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
  • We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for first-time Pro subscribers
  • Tax-compliant invoices will be provided for all paid subscriptions
  • Failure to pay may result in service suspension or termination

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Store illegal, harmful, or offensive content
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Distribute malware or harmful code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Use the Service for cryptocurrency mining
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without permission

7. Data and Content

7.1 Your Content

You retain all rights to the JSON data you store on the Service. By using the Service, you grant us the right to store, process, and transmit your data as necessary to provide the Service.

7.2 Content Restrictions

You are solely responsible for the content you store. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.

7.3 Backups

While we perform regular backups, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important data.

8. Service Availability

  • We strive for 99.9% uptime for Pro users
  • Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance
  • We are not liable for downtime caused by circumstances beyond our control
  • Free tier does not include uptime guarantees

9. Usage Limits

Exceeding your plan's storage or request limits may result in:

  • Request throttling
  • Temporary service suspension
  • Requirement to upgrade to a higher plan

10. Termination

10.1 By You

You may cancel your account at any time from your profile settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your billing period.

10.2 By Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Engage in fraudulent activity
  • Fail to pay applicable fees
  • Use the Service in a way that harms our systems or other users

11. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and content, is owned by Animated Creativity and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws of India. You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer any part of the Service.

12. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANIMATED CREATIVITY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Animated Creativity from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
